The course reaches its pinnacle with the crossing of the Bridge 25th of April. Speaking in competitive terms, the course is flat and very fast. The Start is at the tolls’ square of the bridge and the Finish Line is in front of the Jerónimos Monastery.

Half Marathon Course
Start: 10.30 am, Bridge 25th April – March 16th, 2013
Tolls’ Square of the Bridge 25th April – Alcântara – Rua de Cascais (Pingo Doce) – Avenida 24 de Julho – Praça do Comércio. Once arrived at Campo das Cebolas (Largo do Terreiro do Trigo), the athletes turn in the opposite direction of traffic – through Praça do Comércio and Avenida 24 de Julho, towards Alcântara – Avenida da Índia (passing by the Jeronimos Monastery, towards Algés) and continue through Avenida Marginal (Avenida Ivens) almost up to Dafundo, where they return in the opposite direction of traffic, through the same arteries, up to Jerónimos, where the finish line is installed.
Half Marathon Course – ELITE
Start: 10.30am, at Avenida Marginal – March 16th, 2012
Starting from Algés railways station, heading towards Alcantara, through Avenida Índia, passing by Pedrouços and Belém, and Alcantara through Avenida 24 de Julho – Cais do Sodré – Praça do Comércio. Once arrived at Campo das Cebolas (Largo do Terreiro do Trigo), the athletes turn in the opposite direction of traffic – through Avenida 24 de Julho (towards Alcântara), always in the opposite direction through Avenida Índia (passing by the Jeronimos Monastery, towards Algés) – and continue through Avenida Marginal (Avenida Ivens) almost up to Dafundo, where they return in the opposite direction of traffic, through the same arteries, up to Jerónimos, where the finish line is installed.
